These terms apply to purchases at larinconera.se. By placing an order you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

Who we are

La Rinconera is a bookshop run by Cháchara Maria Jesús Murillo (company registration number 19821105-0763), Nobelvägen 23, 214 29 Malmö, Sweden. You can write to us at info@larinconera.se.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT (6% on books). Shipping costs are shown before you pay. You can pay by card, Swish or Klarna through our payment provider Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your order is binding once the payment has gone through and you receive our confirmation by email.

Shipping and collection

We ship with PostNord to Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Within Sweden, parcels usually arrive within 1 to 4 working days of leaving our shop, and you’ll get a tracking number when we send your order. You can also collect your order free of charge at Nobelvägen 23, 214 29 Malmö. Fridays only, 3 pm to 7 pm. We’ll let you know by email when it’s ready.

Right of withdrawal

Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. Write to us at info@larinconera.se with your order number. The books must be returned unused and in the condition you received them. You pay for the return shipping. We’ll refund what you paid, including the original shipping cost, within 14 days of you telling us you’re withdrawing; we may wait until we’ve received the books before refunding.

Complaints

If a book arrives damaged or isn’t the one you ordered, write to us as soon as possible with your order number and, if you can, a photo. Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) you have the right to complain for three years from the purchase. We’ll send you a new copy or refund your money, and we’ll pay the shipping.

Gift cards

Gift cards are sent by email, from 150 kr, and can be used across our whole catalogue, including for shipping. They don’t expire, and whatever isn’t spent stays on the card. They can’t be exchanged for cash or used to buy other gift cards.

Discount codes

One discount code can be used per order. Each code has its own conditions, such as an expiry date or whether it applies to books on offer, and it can’t be exchanged for cash.

Disputes

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled a complaint, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se). We follow its recommendations.
